In Sri Lanka as in Heaven

Jotted down this translation to the Sri Lankan national anthem , during a break at work on the 25th of April 2019; and was surprised by the beauty of the lyric like never before. Unconsciously, we've always been worshiping the Truth :)

I proclaim this over my nation! Amen! 

"Beauteous Lanka, resplendent with exquisite elegance
Land victorious, abundant in grain, green and grandeur
Provider of Life - replenishing us with comfort, commerce, and contentment
Accept our ardent admiration!

-Salutations to you, Motherland! 

You are our intellect; our innate truth
You are our strength; our focus of worship
You are our light; our substance
Our sustenance and freedom , You are.

Refresh us with mercies anew
Lead us into victorious territories
Providing us with eminent wisdom and courage
We are but offspring of one mother!
Let us not be nonchalant in this journey to glory
But march on with ever-increasing love , breaking all chains of division!
