October Rain

I've seen and heard of April rains and November rains
I've been drenched in their beauteous freshness, danced in their spiraling breeze
Spent many nights and dawns in their allure

It's October now. And the heavens have opened. It is pouring absolute elegance in silver sheets of wealth.
My soul clings to the hope abloom in this that I see , hear and feel.
The glamor on the sheen of each rain drop, the gentle song as they scatter on earth in its millions, and the weight of its vigor on my skin, along my hair and on my outstretched palms.
This was the exact thing I was afraid , my soul being full even as my pocket is empty.

I almost laugh at myself thinking about how ridiculous this may look to the world. I am as happy as a bee in Sunshine. Ironic again as I am talking about circumtsances where there's no sunshine at all. Literally nor figuratively. But I've always been a lover of rain. I always thought rain brought perspective.
 1. It makes everything around you look cleaner.
2. It makes the atmosphere less  warm and much fresher.
3. No sweating! Can finally dress up a bit and wear makeup without having to worry about raccoon-eyes! haha
4. Can finally drink hot mugs of coffee and tea with absolute enjoyment without the worry of over-heating or sweating

- October 2018

I just went through my journals and came through that. 👆
This is October 2023 and in the downpour that is happening right now , I'm learning how to be here and now. Now I really really know what life is all about.
No expectations, no judgements,
just my NOW. Here and now.

That's all that matters!

Love and light!
