Lessons learnt from 'Heroine' - the movie

I watched Heroine many months after its release. Found it on Youtube and decided to spend the latter half of a lazy Saturday with it. However, due to a splitting headache I had to revert my eyes off the PC and take a well-deserved nap (worked hard all week). A couple of days back when I browsed my Youtube history in order to complete the movie-watching, I realized that due to copyright claims the movie had been taken off. I wasn't THAT interested in catching up with the plot so it did not really matter to me. A couple of weeks later
a popular TV channel showcased the movie on a weekend and I decided to complete the watching process.

It wasn't seriously a super-hit in my perspective, and definitely needed a few polishing in its presentation. But it was a tired week and watching the movie after a while brought to me many realizations. The following is just a random list of what I learnt from the movie.

1/ You can't love yourself properly if you are over-ambitious.
2/ Over-ambitiousness brings destruction - gradually.
3/ A healthy childhood is the easiest way to grow into a healthy adult.
4/If not privileged by a healthy childhood, one must at least try to learn how to take care of oneself properly.Holistically.
5/ The root-cause for most problems is insecurity; and that, the result of the rootcause of EVERY problem- Fear.
6/ Your parents may have made mistakes, but LISTEN to them when they tell you not to do something. They learned the hard way.
7/ Glamour is an illusion. Really.
8/ Work hard, stay humble, then expect good results.
9/ Time changes EVERYTHING.
10/ Prevention is WAY better than cure!

I like the last one best :)
